Senior Network WAN/LAN Consultant

Office IT Solutions is looking a full time Network Consultant to help provide Tech Support for our clients. Minimum 5 years of experience.

Responsibilities include: network and desktop support, network administration including MS Exchange and Active Directory, User desktop support, WAN and Firewall support, Server configuration and troubleshooting.

Must be able to work independently on all levels of problems. You will be responsible for client’s Server, Network and Local LAN. Must be able to interact with the client's president as well as the receptionist. Work is in downtown DC area.

We need someone we can depend on as a group to get the job done right quickly. Work with like minded consultants who have years of experience.

Requirements include experience with:

Windows Server/SBS 2003,
MS Exchange 2000-2003,
Firewalls, Routers
Active Directory,
Wireless
Windows Desktop Support
Desktop apps including Microsoft Office and outlook.

Must have extensive experience with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, SMTP and other networking technologies; wireless routers, hubs, DSL and cable modems, Hardware repair/replacements.

Excellent written and communication skills required.

Additional skills are a plus:
Blackberries, Sharepoint, Programming or VBA skills, Web technologies (IIS/ASP), SQL, SQL Server
